Medieval Themed days are a great way to bond with your family, here are some ideas that have been tried and tested by Freyja fairy in workshops up and down the UK. Plus these can be adapted to make a colorful display.The Dragon who could not breath fire is the book I use for this fairytale session but you can also get books on princess's and prince's at Usborn book clubs , which are delightful for the younger child.Dragon eco glitter tattoos are so much fun and can be enjoyed by everyone. As demonstrated here on famous Historian "Mark Olley" he loved his glittery Dragon and so easy to apply.Foam weapons make it harder for children to hurt themselves and each other.Dress up and go on an imaginary quest , to free the princess from the dragon or find treasure, shields and swords can be easily made from cardboard.Sock puppet jousting or racing should you prefer, imagination is the key.Make your own jester hats , practice juggling and joke telling.Stained glass theme for more Medieval fun.Make a fort out of cardboard boxes,There are lots of themed toys available and can be brought second hand for those on a budget.Fairy crowns and sparkles for the Fairy Queen of the castle. |
